Our mission...
We are a group of musicians set out to deliver original rock music that resonates with audiences.
As one of the original rock bands in our area, Apricity wants to entertain but also inspire others through our music. With experience performing at all over at various times in our musical journeys, we aim to secure larger shows with mainstream acts and bring our music to wider audiences.

Shawn Cunningham : Drums / Vocals

Shawn Cunningham, born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, has been drumming since he was eight—basically since he was tall enough to reach the pedals! With over 20 years of experience, he’s rocked out in everything from jazz bands to worship groups to classic rock and punk projects. Influenced by legends like Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Police, and Alice In Chains, Shawn lives and breathes music.
Now, he’s bringing the beats and the energy to his new family, Apricity, and he couldn’t be more excited!
Ryan Erwin: Vocals / Guitar

Wait that’s not him. It’s just anxiety.
Our “lead singer” started music at an early age. From drums , to guitar, and a few things in between.
Influences are from all things rock and in between.
He’s no song bird by any means but his gritty voice and raw guitar tones will have you feeling back in the grunge era.

Ryan books the band, runs sound, fronts the show, writes most if the music and all lyrics, designs the flyers, designs the merch, and records all Apricity's music.

Josh Erwin: Bass / Vocals

Like PB&J, like Patrick Swayze and that chick from Dirty Dancing, like PBR and a rap sheet… every drummer needs a judge a balance if you will, we call that a bass player.
Well, he may be the baby of the group, but nobody puts baby in the corner. Josh has been playing bass from a young age. He made his first radio appearance at the age of eight.
He’s played in a few bands and got to open up for some major country acts in his rounds. Josh is playing bass in our rock group and coming back to his roots, if you will. When you see this phenomenon who is completely in love with the bass guitar on stage, be sure to give him a wave.
Also, he is single yes ma’am.

Hmmm, what about Loch Ness before the unfortunate downfall and obsessed need to borrow “bout $3.50”.
None of these.
Well you are in luck.
We don’t have a unicorn but he is magical nonetheless. Our very own wizard of the strings Eddie will enchant you with a soulful lead or melt your mind with a blistering solo.
Don’t let his mild demeanor fool you, Eddie’s tone is a complete monster.
Prepare to be hit with some razzle dazzle with a pinch of salt for flavor
